Dr. Dale
Sloan |

 A
native Hoosier, Dr. Sloan received his MD in 1979 from
the Indiana University School of Medicine in
Indianapolis and completed his residency at Methodist
Hospital in Indianapolis in 1984. His 20-year career is
marked by numerous achievements including board
certification by the American Board of Surgery and
Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Sloan
also is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons,
and a member of the Fort Wayne Medical Society, Fort
Wayne Surgical Society and the Indiana State Medical
Association. He is an active staff member at Parkview
and Lutheran hospitals, as well as Dupont Surgery Center
and Healthsouth Premier Surgery Center.
Married with two children, Dr. Sloan enjoys snow skiing,
playing golf with his son and planting trees (more than
200 so far!). He is also active in his church board, as
well as a PACE member of the board of his alma mater,
Indiana Wesleyan University. Dr. Sloan, along with Dr.
Justice, heads a medical mission team to the Dominican
Republic once a year to provide surgery to the local
people. |
